This morning we had the pleasure to speak with Bobbie Smith, the surviving original member of The Spinners.

The Spinners are performing today during the halftime show at The Farmers Classic tennis tournament at the UCLA Tennis Center. Tickets are still available by visiting farmersclassic.com.

Bobbie talked about some of The Spinners biggest hits with us live this morning! He gives us the back story on hits including “I’ll Be Around,” “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love,” and The Spinners’ first #1 Billboard hit with Dionne Warwick “Then Came You.”

“We’ve been fortunate to make what I call ‘everlasting music,'” said Bobbie.
