It was a storybook ending for the Los Angeles Kings finally winning a Stanley Cup title for the first time in 45 years, and of course next comes the city celebration for the champs!
The LA Kings will host a victory parade this Thursday, June 14th at noon in Downtown L.A. that will end in a fan rally at the Staples Center. Now the question is, will you be skipping work to attend the history-making festivities?!
The parade will begin at noon at the corner of Figueroa and West 5th streets and move down Figueroa that will last about 30-45 minutes. Players, coaches and their families will ride in a double-decker bus and show off Lord Stanley’s Cup to fans lined up along the route.
The parade will wrap up at L.A. Live where reserved ticket holders will head inside the Staples Center to attend a fan rally starting at 2:30 with season highlights, speeches from the players and many other surprises.
To score free tickets to the rally, the Kings will give season ticket holders first priority before releasing the remaining seats to the public. Tickets can be reserved at www.lakings.com/parade, beginning 6 p.m. Tuesday, with a maximum of four tickets per order.
