The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Interview: What You Didn’t Hear On Air

The K-EARTH 101 Morning Show had the pleasure of having the entire current lineup of The Beach Boys in studio last week to talk about their 50th Anniversary reunion tour and album.

Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks sat down to talk about the past 50 years and getting back together to celebrate their 50th year milestone, but there just wasn’t enough time to air the entire conversation.

Listen below to a few more lost segments with the Beach Boys that you didn’t heart on air last week!

Part 1: The group talks about growing up together and first starting a band together 50 years ago. They talk about cutting their first single “Surfin'” and even go off on an impromptu singing session.

Part 2: The second lost segment featured the Beach Boys talking about their new album and the story behind the “doo-wop inspired” single “Isn’t It Time.”
