2. The Streak/Ray Stevens (1) — novelty song about the “running naked in public” craze called “streaking”

3. You Make Me Feel Brand New/The Stylistics (4) — the Philadelphia group’s biggest hit

4. Dancing Machine/The Jackson 5 (3) — their last top ten hit as “The Jackson 5″ before becoming “The Jacksons”

5. Sundown/Gordon Lightfoot (7) — on its way to #1 in a few weeks. Gordon is from Ontario, Canada

6. Billy, Don’t Be A Hero/Bo Donaldson & The Heywoods (9) — next week’s #1 song; a “Teen Heartthrob” band

7. Help Me/Joni Mitchell (8) — another Canadian act on the Top Ten this week; her only Top ten hit in the U.S.

8. The Entertainer/Marvin Hamlisch (5) — from “The Sting.” Marvin won the Grammy for Best New Artist in ’74

9. Midnight At The Oasis/Maria Muldaur (6) — peaked at #6 last week.

10. For The Love Of Money/The O’Jays (11) — the only new entry into the Top Ten this week
