Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2′ hit is from one of the stars of K-EARTH-101′s Music Festival and Aids Walk at The Greek Theatre May 20th; it’s KC and the Sunshine Band’s “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty.”

KC and the Sunshine Band were founded in 1973 in Miami, Florida by Harry Wayne Casey (KC) a record store employee and part-timer at TK Records in Miami.

“(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty” almost didn’t get air play on radio stations because it mentions “Booty” but some how it got passed the censors and became a huge hit.
