A fan stormed the field at the Chicago White Sox game on Thursday, temporarily disrupting the game, but getting a lot of cheers from the crowd.
That’s because the fan was a young preschool aged boy who dashed on to the field in the seventh inning, but he was safely scooped up by White Sox left fielder, Dayan Viciedo and returned to him family.
After the child was returned to his family, they were asked to leave the game, but the you child certainly lived up the game against the Baltimore Orioles!
After making the grab and returning the child to the stands, Viciedo was asked what he was thinking during the unusual disruption. “What I was thinking was I hoped that a ball didn’t hit him; that is why I grabbed him,” he said through translator Jackson Miranda.
