The future of optimal TV watching is here, and leave it to Ikea to come up with a solution for cluttered home entertainment systems around the world.
For those sick of juggling multiple remotes for the TV, Blu-Ray player, sound system, video game systems, and are just in general sick of the tangly mess of cables sticking out from behind shelves, all those problems are solved with Ikea’s all-in-one TV-furniture piece, the Uppleva.
The Uppleva is a TV, storage unit and entertainment system all built into one convenient package. The TV, DVD, Blu-Ray player, CD and speaker system are all built into a single unit and controlled by one remote, while a wireless sub-woofer can be placed anywhere you want.
The HD-LED TV is also built with wireless capabilities, so you can access the Internet with ease. The prices start around $960 with different combinations available, however, the Uppleva won’t be made available in America just yet. The all-in-one-TV will debut in five European countries in June and spread to other markets later in 2013.
Check out the next generation of TV/entertainment systems soon to come our way in the video below!
