There are only a few of the new shows that I really like such as “Modern Family”, “Cougar Town” and “30 Rock”, but overall I still have a “passion” for the old shows that I grew up with like “All In The Family”, “The Jeffersons”, “Family Ties”, “The Facts of Life”, “Friends”, “Alice”, just to name a few.

I thought the writing for these shows were “fresher, crisper and funnier” then alot of the comedies we have now. “The Waltons”, “Kojak”, “Mannix”, the original “Hawaii Five-O” I would also consider being better then alot of today’s shows.

I agree that there are other resources that people are using to get their entertainment from, so TV is sort of being redundant in terms of providing entertainment I would imagine.

The cable channel TVLAND is great for watching all those old shows.
