Last Thursday’s TV ratings of popular network sitcoms showed season-low viewership leaving many to wonder, where did the TV audience go? Once top-dog comedy 30 Rock saw its lowest rating with only 2.79 million and even fan-favorite comedy Big Bang Theory dropped to its lowest audience of the season.
Compared to 10 years ago on the same first Thursday in April, hit shows like ER had 28.5 million viewers and the buddy comedy Friends reached 22.6 million. So if TV watchers aren’t tuning into these current shows anymore, tell us what exactly are you watching?!
With changes in how viewers watch TV programs these days with online streaming, DVRing, and Netflix, many people aren’t tuning in to shows when they air that could factor in to the low ratings.
So we want to know, how do you watch TV and what are you watching?!
