Hollywood Sign in 8-Bit/Google Maps
Google has long been known for developing highly advanced technology for a wide range of services for our computer/mobile devices, but they’ve now realized something has been missing. The Google team has acknowledged that they’ve neglected developing technology for one of “the mot popular computer systems ever sold”; NES.
Now that’s a thing of the past as Google introduces Google Maps 8-Bit software compatible with NES! Hope you didn’t throw out your old NES systems, because this will change your world!
April Fool’s! Looks like the geniuses over at Google have struck again launching a retro version of Google Maps that transforms everything from street-view to map directions into their ‘Quest‘ 8-bit mode for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
Even some of the world’s most popular landmarks have been transformed into an 8-bit version! Too bad this is only for April Fool’s Day, because we could really have some fun playing around with Google Maps Quest!
