This afternoons ‘Tickets @ 2′ song of the day is “I Wish” by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Stevie Wonder[/lastfm].

It was released in 1976 as a single and included on the album Songs in the Key of Life. Written and produced by Stevie, the song focuses on his childhood, which explains the line in the song: “You nasty boy!” Boys will be boys.

The single hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and soul singles chart.

We’ll take caller # 12 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) when we play it between two and three for a pair of tickets to see Batman Live: The Arena Tour coming to Staples and the Honda Center in September.
