Ringo Starr Announces New All Starr Band Lineup & 2012 Tour Dates

In support of his brand new album, Ringo 2012, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ringo Starr[/lastfm] has announced a brand new roster of artists who will hit the road with him as the 13th generation of Ringo’s All Starr Band for upcoming tour dates.

With some new and former All Starr members in the backing band, Ringo is taking his all new show on the road this summer, which will wrap up in Los Angeles!

Joining Ringo on tour include new members Steve Lukather ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Toto[/lastfm]) and Gregg Rolie (Santana & Journey) who will join All Starr alumni [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Richard Page[/lastfm] (Mr. Mister), [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Todd Rundgren[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mark Rivera[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Gregg Bissonette[/lastfm]

The 2012 tour will include a set list of notable hits spanning Ringo’s solo and Beatles career including, “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Photograph,” “Little Help From My Friends,” “Yellow Submarine,” and “Wings,” from Starr’s just released 17th solo record, Ringo 2012. All Starr’s hits include “Rosanna,” “Broken Wings,” “Hello It’s Me,” “Black Magic Woman.”

In addition to the new class of All Star musicians, Ringo promises plenty of surprise guests joining him on stage along the tour, so you never know who might just show up!
