Top 10 Songs Mistaken As Love Songs

#1. “Every Breath You Take” – [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Police[/lastfm]

One of the most misinterpreted songs ever, The Police’s soothing ballad sounds sweet and innocent enough, but paying close attention to the lyrics will change your entire perspective of the song. It’s really about an obsessive love who’s stalking “every breath you take/and every move you make,” not something that really comes to mind in a love song.

Sting explained it best himself saying, “I think it’s a nasty little song, really rather evil. It’s about jealousy and surveillance and ownership.”

I always hear Wham’s “Careless Whisper” being dedicated. I’ve even heard it as a couples first dance at a wedding. More like Careless selection.

Hum? no wonder the country is going the way it’s going. no more space for imagination everyone expect simple things already digested. How sad of an article this is!

There pretty good songs none the less!

Sharing is caring and caring is sharing; living is giving and giving is living
    Still Optimistically Obtaining
    Still Sufficiently Achieving

Happy together is a love song to me! My hubby and I saw the turtles in concert while still going out. the song came out the year of his birth. I found a vday card that played that song. Coincidence? I think not!
