The feud between two divas, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Elton John[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Madonna[/lastfm] is just not letting up. This time, Sir Elton has given the Material Girl some words of advice when performing at the half time show of the Big Game this Sunday in Indianapolis.
This morning on Good Morning America, when asked what words of advice he has for Madonna when she performs at the most viewed television event of the year, he answered sarcastically with “Make sure you lip-sync real good.”
Ever since winning an award for Best Live Act from England’s Q music magazine in 2004, Sir Elton has been critical of the singer not singing live at her concerts.
Madonna shouldn’t take this jab too personally since Elton feels there have never been “a decent” half-time show performance. ‘You have to play live, but I don’t think you can,’ he said. ‘In all fairness to everyone who’s done one before, you may be able to sing live, but it’s really hard to play live.’
In addition to Madonna, Elton John will also be making an appearance during the Big Game, but in the form of a Pepsi commercial, along side X Factor winner Melanie Amaro.
