According to the Chinese calendar, it is not the year 2012, but instead is the year 4709 (or 4710 in some instances), which marks the Year of the Dragon! Those born in the Dragon years are said to be “innovative, brave, and passionate” and is the most powerful and lucky sign of all the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac.
