It’s a weather related song on ‘Tickets @ 2′ today, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Albert Hammond[/lastfm]‘s “It Never Rains In Southern California.”
Albert was born in London, England and raised in Gibraltar. He sang in the Church Choir as a kid and was a Choir boy. While in Gibralter he learned to speak fluent English and Spanish.
An accomplished songwriter among the hits he wrote include “The Air That I Breath” for The Hollies, and the Julio Iglesias hit “To All The Girls I’ve Loved Before.”
Apparently word got out about our drought conditions here in L.A. when he came up with “It Never Rains In Southern California.”
When we play it between two and three we’ll caller #10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) will win a pair of tickets to see The Wonderelles.

I thought this was your rainy season guys ( isn’t it from December to March or something like that?). Surprise to hear about a drout in L.A. nowadays. However, I have heard about it snowing once in L.A.. I saw a video of it actually snowing in “Burbank”.!
