The Estate announced on Thursday that The King of Pop will be honored at a hand and footprint ceremony at the legendary Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood later this month with the help of Michael’s three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket.

In conjunction with the Los Angeles debut of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson IMMORTAL World Tour, a giant celebration to honor the memory and music of the late pop icon will be held at a special hand and footprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

Michael’s three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, will wear their father’s famous sequined glove and shoes to make an imprint in the cement in front of the theatre for family, friends and fans to celebrate his legacy.

In addition, a live performance from the cast of the IMMORTAL Tour will take place as part of the ceremony hosted by Access Hollywood’s own Billy Bush.

The event takes place on January 26th starting at 11 AM and will all be live streamed via Michael Jackson’s official Twitter account (@michaeljackson) for fans around the world to see!

The Michael Jackson IMMORTAL World Tour premieres in Los Angeles at Staples Center on January 27-29, 2012.

I guess that’s one way to “cement someone” as a legacy! He’s still sadly missed! You have “concrete evidence” showing how much people loved him!

    Sufficiently STILL Achieving!
