Last year’s Oscar host, actor James Franco is being accused by his former NYU professor as the reason for his unjust firing from the school, because he dared to give Franco a bad grade for his class! Dr. Jose Santana has filed a lawsuit claiming he was let go after giving Franco a ‘D’ in a film course ‘Directing The Actor II’ at the prestigious school.
The professor claimed that Franco only attended two of his 14 lectures in the course and says the school gave the star preferential treatment because of his status, despite the fact Franco was a no-show at many of the his colleagues’ courses as well.
Santana also accuses the school of collaboration between Franco and faculty members on independent film projects. NYU calls Santana’s claims “ridiculous” and disappointing, but Franco has yet to comment on the accusations.
