The Beach Boys Announce 50-Show Reunion Tour & New Album
The wait is finally over. After rumors of a 50th Anniversary reunion tour, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Beach Boys[/lastfm] have officially confirmed their plans for a 50-date international tour that will include [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Brian Wilson[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mike Love[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Al Jardine[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bruce Johnston[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]David Marks[/lastfm] back together, plus a brand new album!

Plans have finally been confirmed for a Beach Boys reunion tour in celebration of their 50th Anniversary in 2012 that will include 50 dates kicking off in April at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Along with the 50th Anniversary tour, The Beach Boys have come together to record a brand new studio album and commemorative catalog releases.
“This anniversary is special to me because I miss the boys and it will be a thrill for me to make a new record and be on stage with them again,” said Brian Wilson in The Beach Boys’ 2012 Celebration press release.
Al Jardine says, “I’m really excited for our fans to be able to see us again in concert on the world stage, and to celebrate our 50th anniversary together with a new studio album.”
