It’s a [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Billy Joel[/lastfm] hit on ‘Tickets @2′ “The Longest Time.”

It’s a near a Capella song with the only instrument being a bass guitar, and a lot of finger snapping and doo-wop background.

I met and talked with Billy Joel a while back and he told me that one of his favorite past times is cruising his boat up and down Long Island Sound. He’s an avid yachtsman owning several nice ocean going boats. He’s been mentioned in Boating Magazines a number of times.

Billy came out west in the early ’70s playing a piano style cocktail lounge not to far from K-EARTH called The Executive Lounge, where he penned and sang “Piano Man.”

When you hear “The Longest Time” between two and three we’ll take caller #10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win a 4-Pack of tickets to the L.A. Auto Show at the L.A. Convention center presented by Acura.
