Ashton Kutcher Responds To Demi Moore’s Divorce Filing

Just weeks after an alleged cheating scandal that rocked the marriage of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore and rumored of a potential split, the 49-year-old actress has officially filed for divorce from her 33-year-old husband of six years.

Following her announcement, Ashton responded to the divorce news through his Twitter to all his followers.

Demi Moore broke the news of her impending divorce from Kutcher though a statement to the Associate Press on Thursday, after weeks of cheating allegations shook their marriage.

“As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” she told the news service.

At the end of Sept., Kutcher allegedly cheated on Moore with 23-year-old Sara Leal on a night out in San Diego, which happened to fall on the same day as their six-year wedding anniversary. Kutcher denied the accusations, but moving vans spotted at their home lead to specualtion of a split.

After the news broke, Ashton responded with his best wishes for his soon-to-be ex wife through his Twitter saying:

I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK

Didn’t she know that it wouldn’t last forever… 16 years apart Ashton still needs time to grow….

Fiona, would you like to see my “Twitter” one day? (HA! HA!) or would you rather see my “Facebook” (much more interesting!)

As for Aston and for Demi all I can say is, I agree with Demi about how Marriage “should be”, but it not always is. I have two role models in life to follow (my grandparents who were married 52 years until his death four years ago and my aunt and uncle who have been married for 30 years. They both must have done something right, right? I only wish and dream is for Fiona and I to be married to each other for the rest of our lives–NO SCANDALS!

With love, real love, a marriage will last for both partners lifetimes, don’t you think? That’s my wish for her and I.

“Sharing is caring and caring is sharing; living is giving and giving is living!”
    “Motivated for marrying”
