Did You Know: “Take Me Home Tonight” By Eddie Money

“Take Me Home Tonight” by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Eddie Money[/lastfm] is our ‘Tickets @ 2′ song of the day.

The song is based on [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Ronettes[/lastfm]’ 1963 hit “Be My Baby,” and features their lead singer Ronnie Spector on the chorus performing her famous line, “Be My Little Baby.” Ronnie also appeared in the video with Eddie Money, mostly in silhouette form.

When Ronnie Spector was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for The Ronettes, she gave props to Eddie Money, which was way cool!

When you hear Eddie Money’s 1986 hit between two and three we’ll take caller #10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) to win those Surfin’ Safari-Beach Boys Tribute tickets.
