Listen for [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cheap Trick[/lastfm]‘s “I Want You To Want Me” on ‘Tickets @ 2′ for a chance tow win tickets to see the phenomenon “Riverdance” at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa.

The song had a long and intriguing history. It was written by Cheap Trick’s guitarist Rick Neilson and recorded for their 1977 self-titled debut album, but didn’t make the cut.

The song was included on their second album ‘In Color,’ which was released later in 1977. By 1978 the band dropped it from their set list, but brought it back when they played at Budokan in Japan. It showed up in the Live At Budokon album released in 1979, selling over 3 million copies, thus becoming their first chart hit coming in at #7.

We’ll take caller # 10 to win the tickets at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784).
