The infamous couple who crashed a White House state dinner and later appeared on The Real Housewives of D.C., Tareq and Michaele Salahi,  are back in the news after Tareq filed reports fearing that his wife was kidnapped.

When Michaele was no where to be found in the house and no of her belongings were missing, Tareq reported to the police that she could have been abducted, but the truth was that she ran off with the guitarist from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Journey[/lastfm], Neal Schon!

Tareq reportedly called authorities alerting that his wife didn’t return home late Tuesday night and noticed “cryptic” behavior after talking to her on the phone, like they had practiced in case either of them were actually kidnapped.

But that wasn’t the case at all, Michaele was actually safe and sound in Memphis…with the guitarist from Journey, Neal Schon, where they were set to play a show with Foreigner. She allegedly didn’t want her husband to know where she was at, but TMZ got confirmation from Journey’s rep that she was indeed with Neal and “nobody kidnapped her and they are in Memphis together.”

Apparently Michaele and Schon have dated in the past before that she called “intimate and passionate relationship,” and Tareq has even hung out with the rock star in the past…seen in pictures posted on TMZ.com.
