Join more than 80,000 California residents in cleaning our coast and shorelines this weekend during California Coastal Cleanup Day, the state’s largest volunteer event on Saturday from 9am-12noon.
Last year, more than 82.500 California residents took to the shores of California and cleaned up more than 1.2 million pounds of trash and recyclables from our beaches, lakes, and waterways. All of the removed debris helps protect the marine wildlife who call our shorelines home.
Here’s how to participate:
- Find a cleanup.
- Show up.
- Clean up.
It’s the perfect event to do as a family, with a group of friends, or even an entire neighborhood.
