Born Farrokh Bulsara in Africa, Mercury grew to be one of the most respected vocalists in rock history. Before he succumbed to complications with AIDS in 1991, Queen climbed the charts with songs like “Killer Queen,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Somebody to Love,” “We Are the Champions” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” all penned by Freddie.
The complex structure of the chords and intricate harmonies set his songs apart from most rock music of the day.
This song was made popular again for a new generation by it’s use in Wayne’s World.
