The Little League World Series Title Comes To Hungtington Beach

The Ocean View All Stars of Huntington Beach became the first Orange County team ever to win the Little League World Series yesterday. They did so by beating an all-star team from Japan 2-1. [photogallerylink id=50792 align=left]

Nick Pratto drove in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he punched a single into center field.

A homecoming celebration is planned for 8:30 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Ocean View Little League’s field at 16666 Tunstall Lane in Huntington Beach. Participants are asked to wear league apparel and bring flashlights, glow sticks, American flags and banners.
