10. My Three Sons (1960-72) — The show about a single father raising his three rambunctious sons ran for 12 seasons with 380 episodes.

9. Dallas (1978-91) — The scripted drama followed the lives of the oil tycoon Ewing family for 357 episodes during its 13 year run. The show is getting a modern reboot in the summer of 2012 with some of the original cast!

8. The Adventures of Ozzie And Harriet (1952-66) — Making the switch from radio to TV in 1952, the popular sitcom following the lives of Ozzie and Harriet Nelson ran for 435 episodes in its 14 years.

7. Bonanza (1959-73) — The western style sitcom about Ben Cartwright and his three sons ran for 430 episodes in 14 years and produced one of the catchiest theme songs on TV!

1. The Simpsons (1989-present) — The yellow-skinned cartoon is officially the longest running TV show in history with 22 years since first premiering with no signs of stopping. Fans have fallen in love with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie along with the rest of Springfield over the cartoon’s 400+ episodes.
