As if he hasn’t already done enough damage to his now ex-wife Maria Shriver, now Arnold Schwarzenegger has filed a response to Maria’s divorce petition saying that he won’t pay any spousal support or fees to her lawyers. She had originally asked for her attorney fees to be covered in her petition, but Arnold doesn’t want to cough up the money since she’s already entitled to half his assets.
Since the couple never signed a prenup at the beginning of their marriage, Arnold and Maria’s reported $400 million worth will be split right down the middle, and I guess Arnold thinks that’s enough support for Maria.
He said he doesn’t want to pay Maria any more support than she’s already entitled to and won’t cover the fees for her divorce attorneys. Looks like their lawyers have their work cut out for them.
They both can agree on sharing joint legal custody of their underage children Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13 after their divorce is final.
