Controversy Surrounding CBS’s New Show ‘Same Name’

It hasn’t even premiered yet and already the CBS TV show, Same Name and David Hasselhoff are coming under scrutiny. This is a show in which celebrities trade lives with regular folks who share the same name.

In Sunday nights premiere, David Hasselhoff is the first celebrity to trade live with a Texas man. The only problem is his not is not really the same.

The 27-year-old power technician told producers about the different spelling and pronunciation of his name, but they didn’t care. This guy is David Hasseloff as opposed to Hasselhoff. CBS was hoping no one would catch the discrepancy and even billed the young Texan as Hasselhoff in photo’s and press releases.

Other celebrities that are scheduled to appear on the show are, Charles Barkley, Jessica Simpson, and Drew Carey.

The show sounds to much like a “Hasselhoff” for me and for it being a legit reality show (don’t care for most of them anyway).

I’m rally not interested watching this show; sounds boring.
