The current reigning Dancing With The Stars champ and NFL superstar wide receiver, Hines Ward was arrested on DUI chargers over the weekend. Police officers were prompted to pull Ward’s car over after he jumped a curb while driving in Atlanta, Georgia, and then blew a .128 in the breathalyzer test.
Ward was taken in on $1,000 bail, which he paid and was later released…but not before taking this incriminating mug shot.
When first pulled over, police say Ward’s eyes were glossy and bloodshot and noticed “a strong odor” of alcohol coming from the NFL star. According to the DeKalb County Police report, Ward blew a .128 BAC and failed other sobriety tests.
Although Ward admitted to drinking two Coronas three hours before the arrest, Ward maintains he wasn’t drunk while driving, but he still leaves behind this mug shot from the night’s incident.
