Maria Shriver Officially Files For Divorce From Arnold Schwarzenegger, Offered Millions To Write Tell-All Book
After the shocking public split and admitting to a secret love child with another woman, former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger was officially hit with divorce papers from Maria Shriver. Stating “irreconcilable differences” as the cause, Shriver is ending her 25 year marriage to the actor-turned-politician after learning of his affair with Mildred Baena, and the power couple will be splitting assets 50/50 since there was no prenup.
Not only did she officially file for divorce, Shriver was also offered a record-breaking book deal for an estimated $15 million advance to write a tell-all memoir of her story.
Shriver filed the divorce paperwork earlier last week, seeking spousal support from Arnold and agreeing to joint custody of their minor children Christopher, 13, and Patrick, 17. Since a prenup wasn’t signed when they were married, the couple will split their entire earnings equally.
According to RadarOnline.com, Shriver could get a record-breaking advance to write a tell-all book accounting her life from growing up as a Kennedy to her public split from Schwarzenegger. A top publishing exec estimates Shriver could get more than a $15 million advance to write her story, passing Bill Clinton’s $15 million advance to write his memoir “My Life.”
If she did decide to write a tell all book about her life, it could also break a number of sales records. Would you be interested in reading her story if Shriver did write a memoir?
