Roger Ebert Admits He Was Too Quick To Tweet About Ryan Dunn’s Death

Yesterday, we told you about the big blow out surrounding Roger Ebert’s tweets regarding Jackass star Ryan Dunn’s death. After Ebert tweeted, “Friends don’t let Jackasses drive drunk,” it sparked a whole controversy with Dunn’s friends and fans.

Today Ebert said, “I tweeted too soon about Ryan Dunn’s death.” While he’s not really apologizing, he is at least admitting it was too soon for judgement.

However he’s standing by his message, he said, “I have no way of knowing if Ryan Dunn was drunk at the time of his death. Since I don’t know what happened in this case and I was probably too quick to tweet.”
