Finding Love in 2011

Not so long ago, people used to be embarrassed to admit they had met their match online. Now it’s become a pretty common way to find love.

According to a survey by eHarmony and Harris Interactive, of those aged 20 to 54:

  • 19.4% of newlyweds met online
  • 17.2% made their love connection through friends
  • 17.2% met their future spouse at work
  • 8.8% learned to love someone they met at school
  • 8.3% found romance at a party or other social gathering

How did you meet YOUR significant other?

  • RainbowRay

Fiona and I had been acquaintances for some time and one day I asked her if she wanted to come with me to see a taping of “The Red Green Show” here in Toronto. We went along with a few frineds to dinner and the tasping of Red Green and that’s I guess you can say, things started to happen. We started seeing each other more and more after that; doing things together and getting to know each other.

Eventually, over time we found out that we had alot in common n terms of interests, our beliefs and similar opinions as well,.

She wasn’t to crazy about Red Green; I remember that, but she really did enly the dinner and my company. However, our relationship has grown and blossomed since then and I feel were both richer for it.

I miss her terribly, more and more each aday and can’t sleep much now. I’m even suffering for it (love) and that’s a pain in the proverbial ass if you ask me.

That in a nutshell, is how we met!
