I want to send a very special thanks to our pal Jojo this morning for joining us this morning to talk about a great charitable organization called Locks of Love, which donates hair to cancer patients. Jojo is a 9-year-old girl with a heart of gold, who at the age of 7 first got involved with Locks of Love to donate her hair. [photogallerylink id=44306 align=left]
Now at the age of 9 Jojo’s hair has grown back, and she wants to donate it again. However she’s currently battling her local school district who is making it difficult for her to do that, by placing a $1 million insurance policy to have kids around scissors.
In the second part of the interview, Jojo told us the story about how her principal at Brooklyn Elementary really wanted to help, and had the idea of having a fundraiser at the school, but unfortunately the school district told her that they needed a 1 million dollar insurance policy because kids would be handling scissors.
So Jojo’s aunt decided to contact us, and we want to help. So we decided to contact our pal Lucky over at Paul Mitchell hair care products that heard about her story and want to help. Once again we want to thank Jojo and our friends over at Paul Mitchell hair care products for joining this morning to help a very worth cause.
