Absolutely release it. The world needs positive proof!

  • RainbowRay

What, the proof is in the pudding?

  • Matteo

Absolutely!! We will always live with the horrific images of September 11 in our mind… We need to have these new images as a closure of those memories.

  • Suz

What is the sick obsession to see a dead body?

  • Kandy

No, let them prove his not dead!

  • PAUL

it doesn’t matter – i watch bones and criminal minds –
the makeup artist can do amazing things – so how would we know that it was really him????

  • mary

No, What is wrong with the world, no wonder children today are growing up not fearing anything because we have become a society that lives with tunnel vision, there is nothing that is sacred, only sick people would want to see pictures like this.
He is dead, leave it at that……………………………..

  • mreich

Yes, we need to see it. It may help with ‘closure’

  • Laurie Ackerman

Nobody needs him to become a martyr in society. The images of his death should remain unviewed. There already game companies who are capitalizing on his death.I suppose if one needs to be macabre then purchase a virutal game and blow off his head. May the nightmares be with you not me!
I still regret seeing Carol Chessman’s image in the death chamber. This image has been with me forever.

  • Gar J. Chan

No, the Osama Bin Laden photos should not be released, i.e. not at this time. It holds potential for misuse political gains our enemies to otherwise further inflame a sensitive matter between the Western World and Islam Nations. Let it be said, the surviving wife shot in the leg and Osama Bid Laden’s other remaining wives can personally attest and share account to their family members and followers, he indeed no longer exist.

Simply let silence speak (volume) from lack of availability any future messages he often sought to have publicly aired.

Appropriately, whatever time frame that may be when the world is more receptive to world peace can, and should these photos of Osama Bid Laden’s death then be released.

Otherwise, we gravely risk mistake once the death photos are released now, this event cannot ever be undone in a period sensitive to heighten tension and exposure further possible worldwide discord.

The President says releasing these photos “is not who we are.” Which means, if you want the photos released, you’re un-American?

By the way, what happened to the idea of arresting the terrorists as criminals and giving them public trials, to “show who we are?” This guy wasn’t armed.. we just went in and shot him. Not that I object, but who are we kidding? This country showed the autopsy photos of JFK, to prove he was shot in the head. Is Osama bin Laden more important?

  • Cargrfx1

Yes the photos should be released, whats to say that he’s dead except for the president’s word. I would believe it if I were to see the photos, but then again maybe he’s alive and living in Beverly Hills. We’ve seen the gruesome photos of President Kennedy, so whats the difference??? Besides it couldn’t be any worse than what is on TV or at the movies.

  • Proud American

Seriously, now. We have seen photos and videos of hangings of foreign leaders, body parts of bombings, killing fields, Auschwitz, beheadings, etc. etc. Now, all of a sudden, the Obama administration announces it has killed the man the world has been hunting for ten years !10 YEARS! and all we have are vague Rambo reports of a killing and–this is the incredible part–a burial “at sea” (normally bodies are cremated and the remains disposed of to effect traceless locale of “martyrdom”) with full observance of Muslim funerary rites. I just don’t get it. No body, no autopsy, no trophies? I still don’t get it! All of a sudden the US administration is so concerned that its alleged arch-demon gets a proper burial? C’mon, people some thing is wrong with this picture!

  • Dawn

Let’s be happy he is dead and keep it at that. We don’t need to add any fuel to any fire….it’s enough that he is dead. Let’s move on.

    • Gary Bryan

OK, but how about the deterrence factor? Maybe Junior Jihadists would think twice?

  • Tommy

No, We Don’t need to See the Photo, because the Military Does not want them out, and i Stand behind our Troops and don’t want them to be targeted if the photos get released. Its About Safety for them and America, because we do not need to inflame a Suicide Bombing Country anymore then they already are!
