Only days away from the release of her first solo record in over a decade, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Fleetwood Mac[/lastfm]’s frontwoman,  [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Stevie Nicks[/lastfm] debuted her new music video for her single “Secret Love.” [photogallerylink id=38925 align=left]

The video encompasses the very best of Stevie’s distinct voice as well as her peculiar vision for the video as she best describes as “sparkly and eerie and kinda creepy.” Watch the new video of “Secret Love” from Stevie’s upcoming solo album In Your Dreams and tell us what you think!

The whimsical video for her first single “Secret Love” fittingly mirrors the title of her new album In You Dreams with images of ghostly figures, disappearing acts and her god-daughter making a cameo as her younger 25-year-old spirit appearing with her grown up spirit.

“I wanted to make it like my younger 25-year-old spirit blending with my 62-year-old spirit,” she told Spinner. “Sometimes your young self, when you look back, is not very much different than your older self.”

She first wrote the song “Secret Love” in 1975, but filed it away for years until revisiting the song about a long-lost love affair with fellow Mac member[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Lindsay Buckingham[/lastfm] once again for her new album hitting stores on May 3rd.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

  1. RainbowRay says:

“Your young self, when you look back is not much older then your older self” says Stevie Nicks. I agree with that statement because depending on how you look and live life, no matter how much older you get it’s still possible to feel as young as you did when you younger when your older (remember the song “Young At Heart?) I feel that way mysefl despite being in my fourties and that suits me feel just fine and grateful that I feel alive.
