‘Tickets @ 2′ features an all time great from [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Temptations[/lastfm], “Just My Imagination.”

This was the last single for The Temptations with Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams in the group. Eddie started a solo career and in 1973 scored his biggest hit with “Keep On Truckin’.”

Williams remained on salary as an advisor, but was plagued with personal problems. He was separated from his wife, owed back taxes and was being treated for alcoholism. Tragically he committed suicide in 1973 at age 34.

On a brighter note, this was the third of four # 1 Hits by the Temptations, reaching # 1 in April of 1971.

We’ll take caller # 15 for a pair of tickets to see “9 to 5: The Musical,” Tuesday, May 10th at the Segerstrom center for the Arts; 1-800-232-KRTH (5784).
