Lindsay Lohan Considers Pleading ‘No Contest’ To Grand Theft Felony Charge
Lindsay Lohan only has one more day to make a decision whether she will take a plea deal that will result in jail time, or plead guilty of the charge of stealing a necklace from a jewelry store. According to her mother, Lindsay is seriously considering pleading no contest in the case, which they hope will give her the shortest amount of jail time.
Her mother Dina insists that Lindsay isn’t pleading guilty in the grand theft felony case of the stolen necklace. She says it’s just best to get the whole thing over with in the shortest amount of time possible so Lindsay can get back to work.
Taking the plea deal would sentence Lindsay to 3 months of jail plus 3 or more years of probation, but with overcrowing in prision, her time could be cut down to 19 days.
To make matters worse in Lindsay’s world, her father, Michael Lohan, was just arrested for domestic abuse against his girlfriend, with bail set at $200,000.
