[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] has come a long way in his short 17 years. He’s a worldwide teen phenomenon (comparably at ‘Beatlemania’ status), he has his own movie…in 3D, and now he has his own wax twin at Madame Tussauds. Though it’s a dream for most celebs to forever be immortalized in waxwork at Tussauds, they probably should have waited until he stopped growing first.
The young star has gone through a growth spurt during the eight months it took to complete his wax double, which was unveiled on Wednesday in London, and now the scale is slightly off with his real height.
The pop singer’s waxwork was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London (and also in Amsterdam and New York), but something was off just a bit. They nailed the swooping hairstyle, the stance and even the pouty, model-esque expression, but since he’s still a growing boy, the figure was inches shorter than the real Bieber.
“It’s pretty incredible to see,” Bieber said before joking about the height. “As you can see, I’m at least six feet taller than him!”
