The 83rd Annual Academy Awards aimed to be much younger and modern with the awards ceremony this year, and the two youngest hosts in history, James Franco and Anne Hathaway, were the spotlight. Whether you loved the costume changes (especially when James Franco dressed in drag with a blond wig and hot pink dress) or were confused by Franco’s strange behavior, it was a night full of entertainment!

So we wanna know…what did you think of Franco and Hathaway’s performance as co-hosts of the Oscars and the award show overall?!

The Oscars were definitely more modern this year with two young hosts, a virtual background and even auto-tuned songs from the biggest films of the year being spoofed.

There weren’t any real big surprises or controversies (other than hearing Melissa Leo drop the F-bomb during her acceptance speech) so we want to know, where the Oscars a hit or miss this year? Let us know what you thought about the show!

I liked Anne, but James sucked eggs big time!!!

  • Ruben

These people don’t what else to do to keep the show interesting.in regards to Franco and Hathaway’s cross dressing is a bomb.

  • Gary Bryan

In honor of James Franco, several people at the Kodak cut their arms off in order to get out of there!

  • EB

This was an incredibly boring Oscar program…And James Franco was the worst. I felt sorry for Anne Hathaway…She did her best with what she had to work with, which wasn’t much, and Franco may as well have been made of stone for all the charm and personality that we saw from him. Please…No more James Franco hosting the Oscars…He was awful.

  • Sheila

Yes, it was rather casual, but Anne was a hit and so were the movies. I believe Melissa was in her fighter mom character when she dropped the F bomb. Helen Mirren mentioned her character too when accepting her award.

  • Barbara

I liked Anne, but James was very wooden and couldn’t get by without the prompter.

  • Diana

Very boring this year. Nothing against Anne or James – they don’t write the script they just perform. Love James as an actor, but not a host. Anne was natural and funny.

  • MJ fan

I enjoyed the opening monolog, I am glad I saw inception and the King’s speech.
