Taking a trip back down memory lane, we’re reminiscing about sitting around the TV in 1964 and witnessing the biggest moment to arrive on TV at the time; The Beatles’ very first scream-inducing appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

This momentous broadcast forever changed music and TV and launched The Beatles into superstar status. On this day February 9, 1964, the four mop tops took over TV sets in America with their five-song performance for the first time on Sullivan.
