[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Christina Aguilera[/lastfm] had the looks, the voice and unwavering confidence as she kicked off the big game by singing the National Anthem. Not being her first time singing the Anthem at a big sporting event, you would think Aguilera would have no problem nailing the tune, but the singer got so caught up in the moment that she sang the wrong lyrics.

You may not have noticed during the moment, but superstar Christina Aguilera sang the wrong lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner at the start of the big game on Sunday. Instead of singing “‘O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming,” Aguilera sang “what so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last reaming.”
Embarrassing to say the least, but at least she sounded great. Afterward, she addressed the mistake saying, “I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”
Check out the video of her performance and see if you can catch the mistake.
