This afternoon on ‘Tickets @ 2’ be listening for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Righteous Brothers[/lastfm] hit “Unchained Melody,” which was the flip side of the Phil Spector produced “Hung On You.”

DJ’s around the country didn’t particularly care for “Hung On You,” and flipped the single over, opting for “Unchained Melody,” which infuriated Phil Spector because he didn’t produce what was regarded as the “B” side.

“Unchained Melody” was produced by Righteous Brother Bill Medley, who produced The Righteous Brothers’ early hits like “Little Latin Lupe Lu,” and “Koko Joe.”

When we play it between 2 and 3 be caller #10 at 1-800-232-KRTH(5784) and we’ll send you to the slopes of Bear Mountain.
