After months of investigating Mel Gibson for domestic violence against Oksana Grigorieva, it looks like he will face criminal charges. According to Radar Online, Mel’s lawyers had a last chance meeting with prosecutors to beg them not to file charges, but it looks like it’s imminent.
We understand he can be prosecuted for either a felony or misdemeanor, and if convicted of a felony, Gibson could face up to 4 years in state prison. If he’s found guilty of a misdemeanor, Gibson can still face up to a year in county jail.
