David Cassidy Pleading Guilty In November DUI Case
After his arrest back in November for suspicion of drunk driving, former teen heart-throb David Cassidy denied all accusations he was driving under the influence. In new reports, however, Cassidy is now expected to enter a guilty or no contest plea in the DUI case.
According to a judge in Florida, the former Partridge Family teen star is likely to enter either a guilty or no contest plea for his DUI case from November. If that’s the case, he’ll most likely enter the plea without a court hearing and be sentenced on February 16.
He was arrested in November for suspicion of drunk driving when police spotted his car weaving in and out of the lanes. He was described as “unsteady on his feet” and failed multiple sobriety tests, where he blew somewhere between 0.139 and 0.141.
He admitted to authorities that he had a glass of wine earlier that day and was on medication, but other reports also say they found a half-empty bottle Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon in his car.
Though he is being charged with drunk driving, Cassidy is preparing for his appearance on the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice, which airs on March 6.
