A British piano player has put together a tribute album to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Iain Stewart[/lastfm], the “sixth Stone,” and the original five [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rolling Stones[/lastfm] will play a part, covering a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bob Dylan[/lastfm] classic!

The whole gang – including former bassist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bill Wyman[/lastfm] – will get together to cover “Watching the River Flow,” a Dylan track that was originally released in 1971. Like so many Dylan tracks, it’s gained a life of its own through multiple covers, including this version with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eric Clapton[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Joe Cocker[/lastfm]:

The album, called Boogie For Stu, will also include additional appearances by Stones drummer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Charlie Watts[/lastfm], Stones guitarist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ronnie Wood[/lastfm] and alt-star [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]PJ Harvey[/lastfm].

The compilation is being put together by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ben Waters[/lastfm], who was a family friend of Stewart. Proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation.

How curious are you to hear a new track with the original Stones lineup?
