[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Eagles[/lastfm] are a seminal classic rock band that one would think had played all over the world, especially in one of Asia’s biggest, most-populated countries. But the band has never played in China–until now!
On the Eagles Long Road Out Of Eden tour, the band will play their first ever shows in China.
In March 2011, the Eagles will play Shanghai and Beijing. Guitarist Joe Walsh is super excited to play a country that he’s never played: “We are going to China and I have no idea what to expect. I am really looking forward to that. We are playing Beijing…I have no idea what to expect. I don’t know it they are going sit there and look at us, or clap or if they will know any of the words. We will just go and play and an Eagles concert like we do and see what happens.”
Walsh said he might even sing his signature tune “Life’s Been Good” in Chinese: “I should actually get that interpreted into Chinese and sing it in Chinese. I wonder what that would sound like?”
