“The Little Drummer Boy” (also known as “Carol of the Drum”) was written by pianist Katherine K. Davis in 1941. It was popularised by the Harry Simeone Chorale and has been adapted many times since by a laundry list of artists.

The Tokens are among the list who put their signature sound on the holiday favorite about a poor, young boy who, unable to afford a gift for the infant Jesus, plays his drum for the newborn with the Virgin Mary’s approval.

Caller number 10 at 1-800-232-KRTH (5784) wins a pair of tickets to Pacific Symphony’s “Andy Williams Christmas Show” at the O.C. Performing Arts Center!
