K-EARTH 101 Remembers John Lennon With Special Broadcast on Sunday

Many remember where they were the day they heard about John Lennon’s senseless murder by crazed fan Mark David Chapman. Music lost a voice of a generation that day, and 30 years later, the world still honors his memory on the anniversary of his death.

This Sunday, tune in to K-EARTH 101 for a special broadcast of John Lennon’s very last interview that was recorded just hours before his death.

It will be exactly 30 years ago on December 8, 1980, when the man who promoted peace and love was violently murdered by one of his own fans. John Lennon was shot in the back four times by Mark David Chapman before entering his New York apartment with wife, Yoko Ono.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival at 11:07 p.m. The world mourned and prayed following his death, and to this day, fans continue to pay tribute to the music legend to keep his advocacy of peace and love alive.

Be sure to listen in to K-EARTH 101 this Sunday for a special broadcast of John Lennon’s last interview just before his death. We will be airing the interview in his entirety starting at 10 p.m. as we remember the late, great musician on the anniversary of his untimely death.

No name ferret…FERRET:Being so closely related to polecats, ferrets are quite easily able to hybridize with them, and this has occasionally resulted in feral colonies of ferret-polecat hybrids that have been perceived to have caused damage to native fauna
