Get ready, southland: [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jackson Browne[/lastfm] is coming to southern California, and not leaving until he’s played three separate acoustic shows!
Browne’s 2011 solo acoustic tour has a distinctly west coast feel at this point, with nine U.S. dates announced thus far, and eight of them are in California:
Feb. 23: Santa Cruz, CA – Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium
Feb. 25: Santa Barbara, CA – Arlington Theatre
Feb. 26: Bakersfield, CA – Bakersfield Fox Theatre
Mar. 1: Santa Rosa, CA – Wells Fargo Center for the Arts
Mar. 2: Sacramento, CA – Sacramento Community Center Theater
Mar. 4: Phoenix, AZ – Comerica Theatre
Mar. 5: Temecula, CA – Pechanga Casino
Mar. 8: Long Beach, CA – Terrace Theatre
Mar. 9: Thousand Oaks, CA – Fred Kavli Theatre/Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza
Apr. 3: Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada – Thunder Bay Community Auditorium
Thunder Bay? Really? Alright.
Browne has released several CDs of live performances from previous acoustic tours, and they’ve each been successful.
Pre-sale tickets went on sale yesterday. Does the thought of Browne on his own like this make you want to head to Temecula, Long Beach or Thousand Oaks? Or Thunder Bay, for that matter?
